If he was a good journalist he wouldn't be writing for the fucking Mirror.

Quality journalist don't also let their club allegiances get in the way of their journalism. I always thought that it was extremely odd that journalists in the UK are so open about their favorite teams and who they support. Just odd.

The one who gets me is Duncan Castles. He is so openly pro-Chelsea and anti Liverpool/Man Utd it is unreal.

TBF Cross actually had some nice things to say about LFC the season we nearly won the title under Rodgers. I'd hazard a guess he's more a "dedicated follower of fashion" than someone who actively hates LFC - we were flavour of the month at the time and, like so many hacks, he slipstreamed in behind.

Fair enough, I guess. I just don't understand it.

Why spend any of your time giving attention to people you hate? I've often wondered on here if it's a British thing when I see threads on the likes of Piers Morgan, or that weird headed journalist that used to post here.

Surely these people intentionally try to be controversial. It seems silly to play into their hands like this.

I was quite happy never having heard of this guy before this thread.

I had no idea that the British were the only ones with figures of hate!. As for John Cross, well I guess he's been biding his time to have another pop, let's hope he's as wrong about Klopp as he was about Suarez.

Journalist says something I don't like = outrage

Journalist says something I like = love.

It's a bit sad and pointless.

This particular journalist said nothing at all. Arguing with the stupidest, most overenthusiastic point of view isn't exactly illuminating.

Agree. Still find it very odd.

Yeah I get you. But this one is one of these rent a gob, I'll air my ill advised, biased bollocks to most. For the record, he's never seen said anything I like. I'm comfortable with not liking the gooner cunt.
