I've never cared much for barton one way or another , his whole twitter "i'm smart am i" thing is a bit cringeworthy . But in this case i reckon fuck it , at least he showed some proper fucking emotion . I mean where did half of you grow up ? If someone hits out at you or goes down like a pussy then they deserve a kick . I'm not saying it's ok to go around starting riots down the local park but fuck i'd rather someone throw a punch then roll around or dive like a cheating cunt . I don't get how it's now the natural instinct when hit to go down screaming and looking for someone to be sent off. Surely getting pissed off and throwing a dig back is the more natural reaction .

He's just a thug, he'll end up with no Premier League club wanting to touch him. Listen , i don't give a flying fuck about joey barton one way or another . All i said was that i don't see what's the big deal with what happened .It's not professional but i can relate more to a player 'losing it' at times then one cheating and diving like a fanny .
And i just love how football fans are all so moral . like half of them don't do 10 times worse in their everyday lives. It's like some chelsea fans i knew , they'd be telling me how much of a cunt Mutu is for testing positive for coke . When i pointed out they just came back from the jacks where they were doing the same they'd respond with "yeah but i'm not a pro footballer" , well fuck if they were and had the money they'd probably be doing even more coke . Plus would they have cared if was playing well and banging them in ? obviously not .

Ideally neither cheating nor thuggery would be in the game, but as the game is much more professional and with the lucrative prizes on offer, some people will stretch to any means to achieve them. I showed that clip because you seemed to be indicating that Barton was some sort of hardman that doesn't 'act like a fanny'...and the good old days is how Pele was taken out of the 1966 World Cup and van Basten had to retire early from the game he loved.
