BARCA! BARCA! BARCA!

Man walks into a brothel in London.

"How much is it for something humiliating?"

"£37.50 luv" comes the reply

"What do I get for that then?"

"A Man United Champions League shirt"

I just don't feel I can take that much joy at watching them lose. Its only a game after all.....

Is it fuck!!!!! I'm enjoying sitting here, knowing that there's loads of them waiting for me to come and torture them about it. And in fact, the torture is, they don't when or if its coming.

Its brilliant. I just walk past them with a casual nod and no mention of the game. I can see its really starting to vex and confuse them.

Not sure I can contain my laughter for much longer though!

Ha ha.

Slight tangent, but I do think any football fan who posts regularly on a rival team's website has to be a bit of a masochistic weirdo in the first place. LVR probably shivered and moaned with pleasure every time we called him a cunt. He'll be seriously frustrated now.

Ha....you're a patient man.

My texts and gleefull calls (no answer of course) started in the 92nd minute.

Fuck that, even today, I'm randomly sending Texts or bbm's to any possible scum cunt possible.

missed the first ten minutes, were manu as good as some people are making out?
Ronaldo was shooting on sight, think he had 5 shots including free kicks etc at Valdes straight out the gates, then they went the other end and Eto'o went across Vidic and scored with their first chance 😀

Lots of pressure high up the pitch, lots of speed and aggression, and they had a couple of half-chances. Barca looked very nervous and defensively dodgy. I feared the worst, put it that way.

The goal changed everything.

No. If found guilty he deserves maximum punishment according to Nigerian law.
Which is the death penalty. He's toast.

Errm.. i'm with you.. i didn't see the major offence, really.. i'm not one to get involved in these things, but i'll say..

I'm half Nigerian and sh*t like this happens everyday.. and to link it to any football club is just a windup/pure baiting.. LVR bit.. and fired back.. can we only give it and not take it around here?

Sure, he's a manc scum, but then, we already knew that anyway when we allowed him to post here in the 1st place..

Got to say I'm with Murph on this one. Personally didn't have anything against him and maybe a private warning would have been in order. It is always good to hear the other point of view which is why I spend a bit of time on Red Cafe (Bunny will think I'm weird) - and some of the Liverpool supporters on there (there are a lot) go well well OTT on occasion - of course it comes back at them like the dam burst but hey .. if you are in the Lion's Den then if you can give it out you have to be able to take it. I haven't noticed LVR getting out of hand before.

I'm sorry but we're not allowing a rival fan to give it the "Self Pity City" bollocks on here. It's bad enough having to listen to dickheads like McKenzie and Boris Johnton spout that crap in public. The end.

I'll agree that he perhaps should have received a strict warning. The comment was OTT and deserved a rebuke but overall he's not the worst or most offensive poster on this site. I won't miss him but do think the punishment may have exceeded the crime.

That said, WOO Barca!!!!!

'If you can give it out you have to be able to take it'?

LVR is a very intelligent poster who's very capable of banter when it suits him.

The fact that so many are saying 'ah,he's OK realy' just shows how well he's fooled so many of you.

He's made comments about Turin, the city of Liverpool (which is funny, since he's from Haifa, not Salford) and now Michael Shields.

What would a warning entail?

'Well, those things aren't nice but don't say them anymore...and DON'T say anything about Hillsborough,OK?'

Good.Fucking.Riddance.

Highly irrelevent and hypothetical but Gerry Francis has just claimed they wouldn't finish top of the Prem. Which is fair enough, but then he went on to explain his view. "...even Stoke away would cause them problems." cue the presenter to say "Even Arsene Wenger said he couldn't live with Stoke". Francis then added "They'd probably finish in and around the top 3 or 4". Give it a rest. They'd wipe the floor with Stoke, displace Arsenal with ease and would be extremely close to the top of the prem if not the winners.

I'm really not sure they would wipe the floor with Stoke. Sides who defend in numbers and are physically aggressive tend to unhinge Barcelona (cf United last season, Chelsea this season, Liverpool the season before last). Granted, Stoke aren't as good at defending as those teams, but the idea that Barca would 'walk' the PL just because they beat United in that final is bollocks, frankly. They'd challenge - I don't think you can say more than that.

EDIT: just seen that your last line doesn't say they'd win it. But in that case you're not really disagreeing with Gerry Francis, are you?

fuckin'A

One other thought: there are bound to be loads of cunts who'd bargained on the scum winning last night and so are currently sat on stocks on CL Winners T-shirts to sell thinking they were gonna make a killing. How I would LOVE to laugh in their faces.

Not read this thread but I felt a little sorry for Rooney. Champions League Final and everyone's talking about the attacking talent on display, Eto'o, Messi, Henry, Iniesta, Ronaldo, Tevez etc. and poor old Wayne spends half his night at left-back, like he has on numerous occasions for Utd.
If I was him, I would be asking for a striking role or I'd be looking at my options. There's no way they're getting the best out of him on a consistent basis.

Ha yeah I suppose I'm not disagreeing with him too much. My point was really that he was demeaning Barca's achievements and some of the best players I've seen in my life time. The only way it seems to stop this Barca side is to adopt an all out defensive approach like Chelsea did. Chelsea have some of the greatest defenders and midfielders in the world, and any side would find it difficult if they put 11 men behind the ball for 90 minutes. I don't think Barca would have any problem breaking down Stoke. I'd fancy them for 1st or 2nd in our league. They're streets ahead of Arsenal and I'd imagine better at breaking down teams than us and Chelsea.

Yeah, but in spite of that they might actually struggle defensively with Delap's throws. Sometimes the simplest tactics can upset the most sophisticated teams.

I also think their current team might struggle physically if English referees were in charge.
