Bad Klopp

I cannot believe the way you all have reacted to this thread. There is absolutely nothing wrong with what has been asked - despite his 4-5 months with us and the fact that it is not his squad, lets think now - every manager we have had has probably to my memory won at least one game at Anfield against PL opposition by at least 3 goals except Klopp. Since his arrival who can say - yeah we really beat such and such at home ? I actually dread games at Anfield right now as we seem so average and celebrate draws like they are wins for us.

Clearly we have talent in our team otherwise we would not have beaten Man City 4-1 at their place and draw with Arsenal at their place. There are good enough players in this squad for him to get them to perform better at home. He has faced up to teams that have set themselves up in exactly the same way in a number of games and yet to find a solution to overcome them. Really - this is the reality, - and despite qualifying for the league cup final - we still LOST the other night at HOME to fucking Stoke. I just wonder is this how the opposition to Dortmund did in the German league which eventually meant he had to quit his job ?

Some of you fuck-heads will no doubt go on about injuries and other shit - but I would expect him to deliver at least one emphatic victory for our team at home after being in charge 4-5 months.

So, summing up this up moron, your main issue with Klopp is that he has failed to deliver your own personal Minimum New LFC Manager Requirement of "winning at least one home game by at least 3 goals at Anfield within 4-5 months."

I don't think Rurik was being heavily critical of Klopp, he's just trying to ask if he's doing everything right. There are some valid criticisms, as there are with every standard of manager, because football is often a game of marginal differences that can be scrutinized in hindsight.

It's not like he's calling Klopp useless, but it shouldn't mean he gets a permanent reprieve over everything either until it's his team. None of his predecessors did.

His record at home is really really poor - the evidence so far backs that up. We lost to Stoke the other night in the regulation 90 minutes, and then today we drew (AGAIN !!!). Personally I think whatever issue he has got with Sturridge - he needs to resolve it and just play him, given that he has no strikers available. It's clear that the problem he has with Sturridge is that he does not want to accept his word - but unfortunately if the results continue like this then he has to play him for 45 - 60 minutes a game. Beggars cant chose.

Did Rodgers get a 'think of why he's wrong' thread a couple of months into his time here? Can't remember, but I suspect there would have been a sense of outrage from many if there had been. Stupid thread that turns some into Pavlovian dogs.

He played a bunch of kids against a team above us in the league and was unlucky not tO win. With the fixture pile up and injury issues, that's good management. The replay is good news too as it gives said kids more game time and keeps the fringe players match fit. Good revenue if it's televised too.

Rodgers took alot of shit from the off Macca, there are quite a few posters who had it in from him from the beginning, the first game was a defeat and people were already calling him an amateur, etc. People like Silver Sean & Moo, for instance - cf the former who still can't help but call him a cunt, sleazeball etc, or the latter who did the same to both him and Dalglish throughout their tenures. People took a disliking to him simply because he replaced Kenny, people took a dislike to other managers because of who they replaced. You and me both staunchly defended Kenny, but we supported Rodgers, now we're doing the same with Klopp, in my case regardless of my affinity with Rodgers who I felt got a raw deal at times (he wasn't perfect by any means either though).

Like I say, I don't think Rurik's intention was to give him a kicking, he was just asking if he has got everything right, which is fair enough game, of course it's going to invite a few dickheads jumping in with wild criticisms though, but Rurik is one of our most level headed and knowledgeable posters, he isn't prone to criticising anyone really and has been an avid supporter of Klopp.

Was there even one?

Calm down.

And there's a massive irony that a poster who deliberately aimed to regularly take the piss out of our last manager getting all uppity about this thread.
