Most of us are still pretty infatuated with Klopp and I sincerely hope this feeling continues for a long time and only grows with every trophy 😉. But everyone has some negative sides to them; this thread is for listing everything you dislike about Klopp or find strange or inexplicable. All the bad stuff goes here. Fire away!

I'll start – I really don't get why he doesn't play Teixeira (Joao, not Alex) more. I can't believe he wouldn't perform better than some of the senior players, especially when they are forced to play on a short rest. He says all the nice things about the lad, when given the chance in the cups he always impresses, but so far not a single chance in the league.

It's always a bad sign when you're the one replying to your own thread. As far as Teixeira is concerned, you'd better start a Bad Rodgers thread too, or rename this one 'what's wrong with Tex?'. It's a bit odd trying to invite a wide variety of moans about a new manager just hours after he's just got into a cup final.

His getting away with too many defeats and may set a record this season of getting us the lowest positioning in our PL history. I dont feel at all that enough has been done to deal with applying correct tactics against those who defend with 10 men against us. He needs to sort out the teams crossing too as none of them can actually cross a ball in.

We're 7th with 15 games to go. Where we'll end up in the table is pretty unknown at this point.

I, like most, have an issue with some of the team selections. But he gets the benefit of the doubt seeing as its a season of trying and deciding which players will still be here next season. We also have an horrendous fixture list and injury list.

The last couple of games have shown that the fighting spirit is coming back. This has been a team that for the last 18 months have been known for losing and giving up.

Its not his team.
Hes doing his best right now with what he has.
Christmas is the time to see what hes about.

Way too early for this thread. Yes of course he's making mistakes, all managers do. And the poor performances aren't just down to the players, but way too early to start getting negative about him.

If he wasn't Jurgen Klopp, I'd be annoyed at the fact that he laughs at his own jokes and every other quip he makes.

I sometimes look at our line up and wonder where the pace is. Hopefully Ojo, Kent and Teixeira (no pace but has intelligence) get more minutes on the pitch.
Sakho is no way near match fit and should be rested for 2 weeks at least.

I'm not liking this thread. Klopp is brilliant. He's honest, emotional, the players understand him and identify him, as do the supporters.

Yeah, this is pretty much where I'm at.
We're slowly but surely turning back into the real Liverpool.

Also take into account that he's just got us through to a cup final at Wembley. Not bad for a manager who's had no preseason with half of someone else's team, the other half being injured for large chunks of the infancy of his reign.
Judge him next Xmas at the very earliest.

It's unfair to criticise too much as it isn't his team and the amount of injuries coupled with a very hectic schedule have made things very difficult. The league apart from a couple of games has been very inconsistent but we've progressed in the cups even though we might not have performed particularly brilliantly.
Getting results whilst not playing very well is better than playing well and losing but you have to think eventually it will catch up with you.
One gripe i have is our defending at corners. We don't have a lot of height in the team and even the taller players we have aren't particularly good in the the air so I don't understand why we don't put players on the posts. Clyne and Moreno are unlikely to beat many players in the air so why not put them on the posts to help Mignolet out.

Another case of people replying to what they think was said versus what was actually said (I don't just mean Macca's post). Please stop "defending" Klopp, nobody has attacked him, that's not the point! I'm as big a supporter of Klopp as anyone here and he's been one of my favorite personalities in football for a long time, way before LFC. I started this thread because I was curious to what other people might have found as his potential weaknesses. Surely coming to the EPL with the aim of bringing LFC back to glory days is the biggest test of his career so far. I think it's actually better to have a discussion about this after a win – we are feeling reasonably positive, so it's easier to be objective and not just moan.

Does anyone feel uncomfortable that he uses the CB up front when we're in difficulty ?

Yeah, I remember some people used to laugh at Mourinho for this. I don't have a problem with this as long as it's effective, which so far it has been.

Still, it's pretty amusing that Caulker has played in 3 games and not once as a CB. I'm sure that's not what he expected!

Exactly, its a valid option.

But i wanted to hear from those who criticised Mourinho for it. But i know we wont

3 sub apperances, 2 injury time goals winning us 3 more points.
I dont have a problem with it either. Didnt Rodgers do the same with Skrtel a few times, Rafa with Hyypia?
Its pretty common in all honesty.
I dont remember who laughed at Mourinho for doing this as its 10 years ago or something.
Couldnt really care either.

Caulkers first start at CB will probably be on Saturday.

Mourinho used Robert Huth in this way against us a few times but to no effect. I think that we laughed at him then as he had other offensive options to make a difference but instead resorted to lumping it forward. Klopp hasn't had many other options as so many of our strikers have been injured and like other posters have mentioned it's worked quite well.

Haven't you got better things to do than attempting to generate posts that allow you to be snide and supercilious?
