Also, Babel played a big part in Torres' goal. By pushing right upfront, it meant when the ball broke Torres wasn't offside as a Villa defender had tucked in to mark Ryan. Also it provided Nando with that extra bit of space to win the game for us.

I only like Babel when he scores great goals. Which is far too rarely. The rest of the time I think he's a lazy, disinterested, tackle-dodging, work shy cunt and I'll be delighted when we've replaced him with someone who knows what it means to wear the red shirt.

Agreed. Someone like Turan, who wants to wear the red and is an exceptional talent.

I still like Ryan Babel and hope he stays before many others.
He was decent when he came on the other day and is a great impact player to have around. I understand the frustration with him, but not the hatred people feel for him.
