arsenal replicating our 97 vintage by finishing 4th in a 2 horse race, by coincidence with exactly the same 68 point total. they're surely vulnerable to dropping out of CL next season, you'd think.
If Wenger doesn't break the habit of a lifetime and buy big this summer (a CB, a DM and a striker are all needed IMO) I think the Arse fans may get very restless, and if that happens the board could well follow suit.

For some stupid reason i just watched some of united getting the trophy , fucking hell they have some useless fucks winning it .....i've had enough , we have to sort ourselves out and stop being so fucking useless . I'm fed up of 5 year plans , of baby steps , of next year will be our year , of boardroom politics . I just hope to fuck these new guys and kenny can finally sort us .
We've taken steps one (getting decent owners in) and two (appointing the King and reclaiming this club's soul), and they do say there are three steps to Heaven. It's a pain in the @rse that those cnuts won it this season, but I'm confident we're on our way now.
Agreed in principle. In practice I can't help wondering whether the players sensed that the King himself was ambivalent at best about the merits or otherwise of getting into the Europa League.

Focus on the league.

I don't think getting into the Europa leage will affect signing good players - if anything I think not being in it will ensure we do sign some good players as highly skilled pre-madona types don't really want to travel to azerbijan in winter on a Thursday night, and its probably embarrassing playing in that league IMO. So perhaps Kenny just showed he could do the job - get the contract and told the boys - to cool it off against Spurs and Villa. I don't know about what happened in todays game but having seen the spurs game - there was a sharp contrast in performance between that game and the game at the cottage against Fullham. I am really hoping the loss to spurs was due to managerial instructions and not the inability of our players to compete with Spurs.

He's done it before though a long time ago, & I've sat near him & a few others at youth cup games in the cheap seats too.
