We're going to get rattled and frustrated tho the longer it stays like this.

We've looked good. passing mainly sharp and fast, putting pressure on the man in possession when defending and have hardly given them a look-in. The exception is Insua looks to be in trouble on the left.

When they almost scored Insua completely missed the man coming in behind him and actually ran into the back of Kuyt with them seemingly marking the same man/space with the ball flying over his head to where he should have been. Insua has also been done for pace on more than one occasion. This is why Agbonlahor has sometimes switched wings.
 
Dirk has clearly not been bad, he has been involved in most attacking moves, what exactly has Benayoun done or Gerrard ? no more than Kuyt

I'd love for Rafa to switch Kuyt and Yossi. If Kuyt is going to be shit, he can at least be shit on the left flank and allow Yossi to play in a position he can do more damage in.

Don't think he's been that bad (Dirk). He does turn around and go backwards a lot though, but he's been involved in some of our attacking plays ... so the good n' the bad.
 
A Solid first half. Aqua is struggling at the minute, he needs to impose himself more, but he's a bit lightweight to me. He needs strengthening pronto. I think we've looked the more likely to score, but we're struggling to get Torres in the game.

Looked to me like it was Kuyt who did wrong in that incident.

Nah ! On this 52" screen it certainly looked like Insua ran in from the back post area to the centre of the box.... totally misjudging the flight of the ball.

It's also often gone wide only for Yossi / insua or Kuyt to fuck it up.

Agreed, Aqui has been a bit shit. I'm hoping that's down to fitness/adjusting to a new league.
