It's a bit of a worry that so many think we'll win today after so many thought we'd lose on Monday.

That said, we'll win.

I have a decent feeling about the game aswell. Anyone seen some team news? If Flanno is playing again it could be the anticlimax from mondays game, were he'll now have everything to do against the likes of Arshavin/Nasri.

Team over on RAWK is Soto in for Flanno and Carra shifted out at right back. I think that would be committing tactical suicide if true.

It was just what one of the lads on RAWK had got texted, so its not 100%. He just confessed to getting the same exact team line up before the City game aswell....

Hey khl,
A Danish guy signed for the team I play for a few weeks back. He moved to Melbourne recently with his missus for some reason.
Anyway he used to play at a decent level in Daneland before he came over here. Think he played for Brondby, Roskilde (not the music festival) and some other weird named side beginning with A.
His name is Nicklas Ronny (I'm sure I've spelt that wrong) and he's about 24/25.
Quality guy and player. You ever heard of him?

I knew Dalglish could possibly take the safe rout and play Carragher on the right. But I thought no he wouldn't do that to "wee" Flanagan.

Soto and Skrtel together is an accident waiting to happen. Both rely on Carra to organize them.

Well that's up for discussion.

Does Flanagan gain confidence by getting benched after his City performance?

Or is Kenny trying to save him from a possible nightmare performance?

Is Flanno mature enough to understand that he's good enough to play against City but not against Arsenal away?

My take on it is this, let it be a learning experience for Flanno. In the long run we'll gain more from playing him than Kyrgiakos. Losing with Flanno on the pitch is a "win-lose" situation IMO.

Here comes 90 minutes of us standing on the edge of our box, with the slowest back four of all time.

We don't even know if he's not playing! He'll have gained plenty of confidence from getting 90 mins against City regardless of whether he plays or not.

I'd prefer to play the same back 4, but let's hold fucking fire like. Playing a young lad at the Emirates, with only one previous outing for the senior team is not a decision to be taken lightly.

Today will be down to our midfield. We could quite easily be over run by Wilshere/Cesc. Hopefully Spearing starts and just gets up in their faces straight away. Stifle them and we can utilise Carrol and Suarez who I think will carry on their good form today.
