The Gunners choked when we gave them a good chance by beating the Mancs. We're not going to give them a second bite at the cherry and see them waste it yet again. They'll probably lose one of the games against the Spurs or the Mancs anyway. Gunners can go eat shit with their "Liverpool hoof the ball" taunts. I hope Carroll scores a couple of headers from Carra's punts and Suarez slices Koscieny apart with his fancy footsteps and rubs the smirks from their smug "we're the only club that plays proper football" faces.

We should try and win every remaining game and hopefully get 5th, or if a miracle happens, 4th.
Let the Mancs have 19, we'll match & overtake their total within 5 years.

If I really thought the tippytappybellends had an iota of a chance to lift the title, I'd be less emphatic.
Even if I STILL wanted a win more than anything.

This will be Spearing's 4th consecutive start and hopefully he's beginning to get used to the big time and playing in front of big crowds. He was brilliant against Sunderland and City and I believe he was as poor as our other players against WBA.
I wish he had a better players alongside him than Lucas but he doesn't so against the Arse he'll have his work cut out.
However, there is an outside chance that Spearing is a genuine first team player and I'd fucking love him to have a stormer against Wilshere and Fabregas and if he does and we win I think many of us will have to consider him for inclusion in our predictions for our line-ups for the 1st game of next season.

Spearing played well against City, but he's not worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as Makelele.
I think our forwards are gonna give them a lot of trouble. Especially Carroll.

Any discussions going on about Lucas and Spearing will be centred around Lucas making sure he helps Spearing out cause the step up in class is causing him problems.
If any imaginary scenario is taking place it will be more along the lines of Lucas wishing he had a better partner in midfield cause Spearing is going to make it tough for him.

Pesam might have gone a bit over the top there, but the point was still valid, Spearing had good games against Sunderland AND City and hasn't looked out of place at all. And for the record he was bang on about the West Brom game, everyone was shit, so why single him out for criticism?
I know it's unfashionable to like the lad. He's ugly, 5ft and didn't get snapped up from Spain, so he hasn't had the privilege of being lauded as the second coming for the last two years by loads of people who haven't seen him play, but come on. This is like Crouch syndrome. He doesn't look like a footballer so therefore isn't.
I don't mind Lucas, but from what we've seen so far he (Spearing) looks like he has the 'potential' to be a more rounded player, more aggressive and tenacious anyway.
