I don't want it to become a regular part of his game and I'm not proud of it, but I really really don't care right now.

I want results.

I voted the second one. My anger was with DB for being so fucking painfully 'objective' with ten minutes to go of a game we desperately needed to win.

Cheating is wrong. But all football supporters are biased, and if you don't care enough to throw your principles out the window then you don't really love the club. IMO.

to be honest I thought he was brilliant tonight...

him and johnson the best players on the pitch...

the penalty... carsley was never going to get the ball..

it could be argued he was evading the tackle...

not a penalty anyhow, never... however... top players do it and get away with it all the time...

Gerrard and the Champions League final... Never a Penalty...

as for ngog.. he will develop into a top player...

tonight he was very good.. best game in a red shirt by far...

How we did not win that game is beyond me....

486 complete passes at one point to Birminghams 95...

He played very well tonight and I am probably being naive but that dive made me feel numb.
I know he isn't the first Liverpool player to do it and he wont be the last but it just made me feel numb.

ESPN are really racing to slaughter the bloke! It's still debatable in terms of intent, Carsley doesn't get the ball, but immediately they're ranting about retrospective fines and bans and god knows what.

I'm just gutted he didn't manage to dive for a second pen.
Haha, innit?

It was tongue in cheek, DB was just too thick to realise and couldn't miss an opportunity to get on his high horse.

No one really wants to see any of our players dive/cheat, that said every single one of us was glad to see the ref give that penalty today.

So aside from Anita - who's proud?
Take it over losing any day.

Take it over drawing too, but obviously that's not the situation here

i'm proud of him 'cos i knew he was a beast before anyone else on here.
Ahem.

I don't think anyone is genuinely proud of our players diving, but tonight is really a perfect example of a situation in which all morals have to be put to one side.

It was a great run, N'Gog spotted an opportunity and made it look good. The club is in the shit and whilst a draw is bad, a loss would've been even worse - he stepped up and I'm glad he did.

Come on Macca, that's bullshit and you know it. A dive is a dive. We all laughed at Eduardo, so we're hypocrites for not condemning Wash - but who cares, all football supporters are one-eyed biased twats.

Except Dreambeliever, obv.

The slo mo seems to be deluding McLeish, who claims N'Gog could have hopped and stayed on his feet. No he wouldn't, at that speed, and with a player like Carsley sliding through, he would have been justified in expecting his ankle was likely to be scraped.

i'm quite happy to be a hypocrite as i don't take football seriously.
Ha!

If he'd have dragged his leg behind him and initiated contact with Carsley then there'd be nothing to discuss. In future, he just needs to make sure he draws that contact, and he'll avoid all this criticism.

Well I guess I'm one. I was genuinely distressed by that.

Worse, tomorrow it will be "You had to cheat to get a point from Brum - how fucking shit are you".

Gonna be a tough day as it is hard to argue against

Wether we like it or not it's part of the game nowadays Anita, so as far as i'm concerned i'm quite happy for our boys to take a dive and let the ref make up his own mind.

Of course it pisses me off when someone dives against us, but i guess all's fair in love and football!

Objective as I conceded the league long before todays game.

Getting a 2-2 result meant f*ck all in the bigger picture.
