The thing is avemenon I stand by every 'blindlingly' optimistic bit of my initial post and really what's wrong with that? I felt at the time we were awesome and then I made a post about it. If you think it makes me look stupid then I'll just have to live with it.
We haven't played 10 minutes of football this Season reminiscent of what we saw back then (apart from maybe the United game and the first 45 against Arsenal) but that doesn't change the fact that I thought we was witnessing something very special. How can you in your right mind try and use that against me at this point where everything has been going against us? Surely you can do better than that?
Or is it really a crime to be a wee bit too optimistic on these boards where we are first and foremost supposed to tear our players, manager and club down?
