Has he really been that good for them? Latest I've heard he's been very inconsistent, sometimes playing a blinder then being shit in the next game

He's been good for them this season, but Juve have started poorly after the Christmas break.

The agreed price is 16 mill euros, and it's entirely up to Juve and Aquilani what happens next, if they want him and pay the fee we can't say anything.

We should under no circumstances lower the fee, if they try that the deal is off. And if he doesn't join Juve, there will be plenty of other suitors in Serie A.

agreed, time to play hardball. been shafted so many times.

TBF Aquilani has been as inconsistent as the rest of them lately, but overall he's still been well worth the agreed fee.

I'd take him back. He'd fit into this style of play *perfectly* and this team somewhere, at least as part of a rotation/subs scheme.

We need a first class squad, not just a first eleven.

If Aquaman's been great for Juventus, then they have to pay the full fee. If there's no agreement, I'll take him back in a flash. Bubblewrap him til another Serie A club bids for his 'real' value.

In theory he might fit into how we now play under the King, but (a) the pace and physical challenge of the Prem wouldn't suit him any better now than they did before and (b) he'd have to be dragged back from Italy kicking and screaming, so I wouldn't give a lot for our chances of making a success of it.
