Do you have any details to substantiate your rather bold but bald assertion?

My many visits to the Stadio Olimpico, this guy was always the best player on the pitch by far.

So what do you think about his injury problems? Roma's fault? A short-term thing?

Spalletti always rushed him back so I would say it was Roma's fault, hopefully this long recovery will sort him completey although probably get dirty prem players trying to take him out.

harry kewell was world class too.
just passing through....

Would have been if not for injuries.
One of the most talented players I've seen in the past 10-15 years of football.
Technique, skill, pace ... he had all the attributes to be amongst the very best players in the world.
Just a big shame injuries got the better of him during his time with us.
Say whatever you like about Kewell the person ... Kewell as a footballer - you can not doubt just how good he was before the injuries.
[/quote]
that was my point really. kewell was jinxed with injury, this boy appears the same. no doubt he has ability.
Firstly 'Sdupper yerface'.....BRILLIANT.
Secondly Rage, your really starting to ruin threads with your constant shite, please pack it in.
Third, yep Aquilani is sick. Cant wait.

He had some good games for Leeds, and showed potential. That's it.
Australians always confuse what he was actually like with what he could have been "were it not for those injuries blah blah blah...".
I could name 10 better wingers that have played in the Premier League than him.

I can say that its about 20-25 games a season this guy played in Serie snore. In England Liverpool plays around 50-65 games a season. He's a top quality talent but i am not sure he can remain fit for the whole season.

What's wrong with him? Will it delay his debut even further?
As for the player himself - I'm sure I haven't seen as much of him as dupper but my first reaction was; talent but needs the space to show it. For me he would be Rafa's "Smicer" signing; a player of tremendous technique and ability but whether he can show it in this league is a big question. That he's here instead of Alonso makes it a big risk.
I truly hope he can be the player that provides that creativity but I'm hopeful rather than confident.
