With one game to go, heres the teams apperences upto now, shockers are N'gog played more than Torres in both the Prem and overall, and some guy called Voronin used to play for us this season! It feels like he played for us years and years ago to me?

I had high hopes for Kelly and Darby, but injury kicked in on Kelly just when he could have had a good run. Wanted to see much more of Eccleston and Patcheco too!

Our 2nd highest playing defender is Agger with 22 in the prem (mised 18) and 35 out of 54 overall.

Our defence couldn't settle all season, we never had the chance to perform like we have done in other seasons defensively, and that hurt us so much especially in Europe.

Our attack without Torres doesn't 22 out of 38 in the Prem and most of those 22 playing coming back from injury and getting 'match fitness'.

Everyone in the team has been injured at some stage, every single player! I wonder if thats ever happened to a team before?

What about Insua with 30 starts and Johnson with 24?

All the top four have had injury problems this season. Chelsea's highest appearing defender after Terry has 20 odd appearances and they've had to chop and change all season due to injuries in the fullback positions. Utd, as said, have had defensive woes all season, and Rooney out now and again. Arsenal lost their main striker for most of the season and their captain, Fabregas, has missed a fair chunk of the season too.

To be fair, the top 3 had bad injuiries as well. The difference was that they had kwality backups that could hold the fort. Spurs and Man City had less key personnel out and arguably have better backups as well.
