Hi All - I was thinking of investing in a new camera and learning how to take proper snaps (As opposed to my shoddily taken automatic ones) So I was looking at SLRs - I know fuck all about them and wondered if anyone here has a similar interest and could give me a bit of advice. I'd be a complete beginner but I'm looking forward to learning. What sort of things should I look out for in terms of features, lenses etc? My budget is about £500 which hopefully should be enough to deck me out in some ok camera kit.
