I don't have a pet but I need some info for a tone poem I'm composing. I'm currently in the process of sub-emotional visioning.
Animals get many of the diseases and illnesses that we get, especially pets who eat rich diets, don't exercise enough and live long lives because of the absence of predators.
Just like us their little hearts and kidneys can get into a spot of bother and they may need transplants.
Are organ transplants common among animals? Has anyone ever had a pet who's had a transplant? Are there issues of donor compatability like with people? How about inter-species transplants?
Is there an illicit trade in animal organs? Does anyone know how to attract venture capital for an unusual business idea?
