Well my predictions of us being out of the title race by Oct and and needing to concentrate on the battle for fourth than talking about winnging it back in August were so accurate I thought I better post something unlikely for a change.

Back to the game I hope Johnson gets a goal he needs one.

Aquilani's second touch is almost always a forward pass. It could be that we are playing Wolves of course but there is no doubt he likes to be a creative play-maker. Just 20 mins into his first match and I'm feeling more optimistic about our midfield than I've done all season.

I know. And I really feel it affects the rest of the team to see our two best players often sulking.

I think he's looked pretty sharp so far. Great touches, the other players just not yet on quite the same wavelength. Likes to backheel it into dangerous positions a lot
