Apart from Riera not playing, that's a balanced line up. Finally we see Aquilani given a proper go in the League.

I think it has just been explained above, and I agree with the premise, that Gerrard needs to be up there off Torres. If Aquilani is playing the more advanced to day then I've no problem with that. If Gerrard was dropped back to replace Lucas then Kuyt would come in on the RW and Flossy would move to AM. I prefer it as it is.

Kuyt is being rested for the 6 pointer against Villa where Rafa desperately will want a point and his defensiveness against Downing will be crucial.
