The thing that always sticks with me is the herds of grown men outside the court when they were sentenced, and how rowdy they were. What would have all these amped up grown men have done when they were confronted with two scrawny looking ten year old boys?
I've had described to me what those 'scrawny ten year old boys' did to that poor defenceless toddler (there you go, tears again) & I can tell you what they would have had done to them would have seemed merciful in comparison.

Aren't there some discrepancies with all the details? Mrs Bulger said on that documentary last week she wasn't sure of all the details. Obviously every version is horrific still, there's no escaping that.

Read this Anita. I read it the other day and I was in tears.

I would carve Venables, Thompson and Mercer up without blinking.

Did you feel that way when it first happened?
I was completely numb when I first heard the news breaking about Jamie's killers. Afterwards, I just wanted them to hurt, even more than little Jamie had.

i loved seeing that, the passion of the aggression and hatred was electric, chucking bricks and stuff at the police van.

i can't really appreciate the disgust at feelings of violent revenge - they seem natural to me. while i'm completely against capital punishment by the state, i'd relish the chance to inflict the retribution myself.

strangely though it's not cases like bulger and the soham girls that get me sufficiently outraged (although they are of course outrageous). the one that always sticks in my mind is of some poor young law student down in london - his whole promising life ahead of him - who was, completely at random, completely unprovoked, grabbed by a gang of youths when he was walking home one night and thrown into the thames off one of the bridges. how senseless is that?

honestly, i'd gladly beat every one of them to death with a baseball bat.

Last year in Western Australia a father decide to take his family to the beach for a game of cricket.

At some point, a gang of youths has appeared and started to steal beers from this bloke's esky.

When he challenged them (verbally), one of them has taken the cricket bat off him and beaten him to death with it in front of his family.

Oh yeah, this was on Christmas day.

It has since emerged that a year or two previously the murderer had split some poor cunt's head open with a baseball bat because he didn't have a cigarette to give him.

I could really, really do some fucking horrifying things to this person with considerable aplomb.

Seriously, what is the point in keeping someone like this alive?

I'm Old Testament like Oncy y'all.

Reading that has made me burst into tears. That poor little child, attacked, defenseless and bewildered and left to die wondering where his mum was. I cannot even begin to think of the fear and stress that he went through.

It still gets to me every time and its made worse by the fact that I'm a father.

Unfortunately not. So I guess that rules her out. You bunch of weirdos.

What a thread.

Some tears, some flirting, some spine-chilling admissions, some truly moving stories, and some pictures of fit birds.

This, friends, is sixcrazyminutes.

I know I am late, but I have seen the pictures of Jamie Bulger, from the post mortem, and from the 'crime scene' itself. I would kill the fuckers, after torturing them for hours days weeks months years on end. No amount of forgivness can help me here, let alone his parents who are actually emotionally involved.

Thought so, I mentioned that earlier in the thread, my mum's seen them too as part of a course she did, they use them for those purposes.
