I first mentioned Adam Johnson when we were being linked with Stewart Downing about 3 seasons ago and I mentioned that Downing wasn't as good as the kid he is keeping out of the team at Middlesbro. Back then we could probably have got him for £1m and I'd already seen enough (during his loan spell at Watford) to know that for £1m it would have been worth the risk.

There's a kid at Dagenham & Redbridge called Danny Green who could play in the EPL but nobody has taken a chance on him yet! If you're reading this Roy, they have 2 Danny Greens at D&R make sure you get the No. 7.

It seems as if Dario Gradi (crewe manager) is going to unleash him soon and according to some older Crewe fans who saw; a young Danny Murphy, a young Rob Jones, young David Platt etc, Powell is apparently the most exciting prospect they've ever seen!

I'm the opposite ILD, I rarely watch an EPL apart from Liverpool games. This would obviously change if we ever mount a serious challenge on the league.
