Me - I came from Koptalk. I was a bit more of a prolific poster then though :🙂 I believe Portly, Vlad's Quiff, Brenden, to name but a few were all on there as well. My how that site imploded quickly. Very funny at the time. 8)

That Dunk really is a prize knob as well. Didn't he say he bought a house that overlooks Melwood so he can keep up with who's injured or something!?!

I just had a quick look and that anti koptalk site is STILL going. You'd have thought the guy would have given up the ghost by now!!!

yeah I'm not sure what's worse, DUNK or the fella that for the past two years still has the mental energy to stalk him!

:-[ Yes I admit to being a Koptalk user years ago! I started to go off it when Dunk asked for money from the forumites to pay the mortgage of his niece's parents. This seemed somehow unprofessional. The others were all going straight to their Paypal accounts, but it takes a Herculean effort to extract money from yours truly.

I then spent some time on YNWA until one of the proprietors called me an idiot, so I buggered off from there. After a long time surviving without any LFC website, Vlad's Quiff encouraged me to give this place a go.

i think it'd be better ask who didn't come from koptalk, not many that i can think of. the way it seemed at the time was that the whole of that site transferred to this one, in a matter of weeks. it must've hit that fat bastard for 6!

I'd say the vast majority of this site were on Koptalk.

He did close down the forums but they are open again now, with a new breed of people all believing Dunk has insider knowledge!

I'm surprised the loon blog is still going but i think its run by different people now.

I'm not going to be TOO critical of Dunk. The people who paid money to him are also guilty of gross stupidity. Also KT was a good forum. If it wasn't for that this place, Est and various others wouldn't exist.

Fans of English soccer club Liverpool F.C. in both Ireland and Britain have rejected the call to violence issued by a Liverpool fan website called Koptalk, which suggested that fans should attack the club’s American owners, George Gillett and Tom Hicks.

Duncan Oldham, who edits Koptalk (a reference to Liverpool’s famous terrace, The Kop), wrote a column recently calling on fans to "get the baseball bats and ski masks ready" to "put the frightners [sic] on" the American owners. The article was published alongside a picture of a large man in a black balaclava and a crowbar.

Merseyside police announced that they are investigating the article.

Oldham is a controversial figure and has, in the past, posted racist and inflammatory comments on Koptalk.

Of Hicks and Gillett, Oldham said that "Disruption, especially to financial institutions, is what they are scared of. And on a personal level, there's nobody in the world who's [sic] arse wouldn't collapse if someone peered over their bed in the middle of the night armed with a Texas Rangers baseball bat or two."

"I won't sign petitions,†he continued, “I won't send emails to journalists who don't care, but I will get stuck in via other methods best not written about. I don't care if I get into trouble with my words… I mean it. I mean every single word."

Message boards maintained by other Liverpool fans have rejected Oldham’s comments and a website has already been set up – Koptalkinsider – to oppose Oldham’s views. On it, the site’s founders say that, “KopTalk is a scam. Duncan Oldham is a con man. This website was created by Liverpool fans to protect fellow supporters from his scams.â€

Meanwhile, supporters groups in Ireland have also stated their opposition to the comments. Sarah Higgins of the Tallaght LFC supporters' club said that, “No one can condone violence of this sort at all,†while John Curtin of a Liverpool supporters’ group in Buttevant, Co Cork, said that “it is bringing a violent hooliganism aspect back into something that the English FA has been working to eradicate."

Someone told me that it turned out there was nothing wrong with her. But then there's been no lawsuit against him so maybe it was true? Either way he is/was a tosser.
Did the mental case DJ Sydney ever make it onto 6CM?

You lot have good memories, i used to post on KT but can only remember a few of the posters from there.

What i can recall as if it was yesterday though, was that i did not get an invite when this site was originally set up. After about 3 weeks of getting bored and banned from other LFC sites, i decided to forgive the rudeness shown to me by the owners of SCM and sign up anyway.
