13 or Bust - Liverpool vs Newcastle

Such a shame the last game of a fantastic season is turning out like this. Rodgers needs to give them both barrels and make sure they come out and win it, even if it's going to be academic. Would be a real shame if we end the season with a poor display and result.

Take away the tactic of 20 minutes of frenetic pace and there's nothing to this team. If that doesn't work they haven't got a clue, and, worse still, they haven't got any pride or passion to fight.

Tbf they do start cracking up and look pathetic when things don't go their way.

Our team has fundamental issues and we've performed well to be where we are. Even though having it tempered by reality at the end of the season has been a bitter pill to swallow, I think this sort of sweeping negative criticism is unseemly and unfair.

I think some of us on here need to be a bit more grateful for the incredible effort this team and manager have produced for them this season.

They look gone now, but this season has been the biggest over-achievement since 2005.

This...so much this.

I thought I couldn't watch the games today and decided to go out, partly because I'd hate to see some of the lads absolutely shattered...but couldn't resist logging into the match thread.

How very interesting. Good luck with your own view, then. I'm confident of mine. It's been a disgraceful end to the season.

It just feels like the last two games - we had the chances against Chelsea, and blew it. We had the chances against Palace, and blew it. Well ... I just hope we get a goal or two so the players don't go into the summer with their heads down.

Suarez has gone off the boil at just the wrong time of the season. As have a few of them.

Needed carrying over the line and there's been no-one to do it, unlike City who've had Dzeko pop up with important goals.
