Simple question, would you sell Salah and buy Werner for £27m?
We get a younger forward and the club will also make a healthy profit, that can possibly be used to buy another player.

Edit: To clarify, I mean in the summer! Not mid season.

It would be more interesting if it was a swap with Mbappe.
Buying an inferior player to replace one that’s been absolutely vital during this period of the best set of results we’ve ever had seems insane.

IF we were to get Werner I'm sure it would be to rotate amongst the front three. All would be happy and we wouldn't be so terrified of suffering an injury to one of them. I read somewhere that Werner turned us down last Summer as he was worried about getting games. I'm sure Klopp could relieve him of that doubt.

We could also experiment with Bobby at the head of midfield pyramid with those three ahead of him.

    Salah is currently irreplaceable.

Sancho - maybe, as we'd have 50-75 million to get even stronger ...
    Mbappe - 100%.
Warner - I'd rather we get him so we can rotate the others in a bit more and win every cup next year.

I mean in the summer. I dunno, considering factors like Salah might be disappointed if Lovren leaves this summer. Werner is a really good young forward. Sure Salah atm is a lot better than Werner but he's also getting closer and closer to 30. From a financial perspective, it might be a good deal? I dunno.

We keep hearing things about Salah moving on to Real or Barca with no kickback from his side (I love Liverpool etc). He must fancy a move.

Do you mean and bank about 200mill on top or something? If we sell Salah, buy Werner and Mbappe, then yes.

    For me yes.

Those saying no clearly don't watch much of Werner, his finishing is on another planet to Salah's...If you'd have asked 2 years ago then no but Mo isn't as
strong holding the ball up nor as quick on his feet as he was in his first season.

You don't get the opportunity to sign a player of Werner's ability for 27m and this is probably the last chance we'll have to get top dollar for Salah so financially it's a huge benefit.

Which is why in their last three seasons, Salah has scored 90 goals and Werner has 61

I do think Salah is a bit wasteful to be fair, considering how many chances he gets. Hate to think what sort of numbers Fowler would have in this team if he got the same amount of chances. Although he obviously didn't have the fitness to get into them.

Depends on how much someone offers and if he wants to leave at the end of the season. £150m for 28 year old in the summer would be too good a figure to turn down. Anyways Klopp knows best

The title is a bit misleading though, making it out like it's a straight swap...posters will just immediately click no and then fuck off.

The amount of disrespect Salah has been getting on here lately is amazing. He's one of the most sensational goalscorers in our history. If he stays here for another season, he'll be in our top 10 goalscorers of all time. Just think of how staggeringly good that is.

There are only about 3-4 players on the planet who could replace Salah in our line-up.

I'd swap Salah for Sancho and Warner but no less.

He's the best goal scorer in our history so deserves massive respect, but I do feel he will go at some point so I'd rather it be on our terms when the players are there to replace his goals. This summer might be that time. Let's see.

Also, what the fuck is this about Salah getting on in age? He's 27, turning 28 this year. The likes of Messi, Suarez, Aguero have all been productive into their 30s, and Salah is pretty much in their bracket as a goalscorer. Barring serious injury, there's no reason why he doesn't have another 2-3 very good seasons still left in him.
