Is Elliott the secret weapon about to explode ?

Beginning to sound like a fetish at this point dude

I need a new one to get me through Dry July.

Even the thought of smashing all the LBC beers at the end of August isn’t enough.

Ice cream, PornHub Premium, an Oculus and a blowtorch. Can't go wrong. Good Luck! :)

What a big call you tall wanker. He came on during the first game last season and started the first home game.

I’m not calling you a tall wanker @Red rose cos I have no idea if you’re tall. Or a wanker.

No probs..
sounds like he be coming on again during first game. if the tall wanker is right :D

He appears to be a likeable lad an all, but I'm not convinced he'll be good enough for us.

We'll have to adapt our approach, perhaps quite significantly, if Harvey does play there as he's nowhere near as quick as Mo. I like him and I'm optimistic about his prospects overall, but IMO it remains to be seen what his best position in the first team might turn out to be.

Klopp's noises about 4-2-3-1 and him saying things like this makes me think he's throwing Elliott in at no.10 from the start of the season - in a 4-2-3-1.

I think Elliott should be considered favorite for the attack-minded RCM spot in a 4-3-3 next season (although competition from Keita, Jones and others will be strong). But if we switch to 4-2-3-1, surely Bobby is the primary candidate for that #10 role.

He got bad press when he picked up that flare and threw it ..then there was something else about him in the press too.. think Klopp wanted to put a stop to it, so left him out …

Edit ;
Liverpool winger Harvey Elliott has been banned for 14 days by the Football Association for an offensive video in which he mocked Tottenham player Harry Kane.
Earlier this season a video surfaced in which Elliott, 16, mocked Kane by impersonating the England captain and using derogatory language’

he Will of learnt valuable lessons from the above and I reckon he will be great !
I thought he did a very good impression of kane tbh

If nothing else, the option of having 5 substitutes allows Klopp more freedom when selecting his starting eleven. That flexibility will mean that he finds his most effective combination and formation a lot earlier in the season than if we only had 3 subs available.

For a #10 I think Bobby gives the ball away far too easily with the simplest of passes (unless he changes his mindset and is capable of not doing so).
In that sense, I think I might prefer Elliot. And Carvalho if we want a ball carrying #10.

True, Bobby can be frustrating with his passing; I just can't quite see him being dropped for Elliott in his natural position. The way I think about it, for Klopp the defensive positions and attacking roles don't necessarily have to be one and the same. So while defensively in a 4-2-3-1, the quartet of

------------Darwin------------
Diaz-----Firmino-----Salah

makes the most sense, in possession it could transform to something like this:

----Darwin-----Firmino------------
----------Diaz--------------Salah---

So Diaz drifts into a kind of #10 role (like Mane used to do at certain points of his career here), Darwin is very adept at attacking from the wing and Firmino does his usual "now I'm a false 9/now I'm a real 9" thing. It's also easy to find a place in this system for Jota, in place of Darwin of Firmino. I think Elliott gets into the team more easily in a 4-3-3 where the way he interprets the attacking RCM position is exactly how Klopp likes it.
