Is it me or do we seem to be running conservatively? almost as if we have our minds on the city game.
We did last season in matches too. Klopp has even referred to it in interviews as 'resting in possession' & 'conserving energy in match'. Unfortunately when we do it there's a natural tendency to struggle to get back to playing at our normal urgency & pave when it's needed.

I suspect the long term ideal is to have us switching up & down the pace in game seamlessly, but we've very rarely seen it happen.

Salah must still be suffering from this ankle injury.

For one, he doesn't look as quick/sharp as usual.

Secondly, his finishing has generally been absolutely woeful recently. No finesse.

Keita's been non existent this half, shame.
He's playing really deep, whenever he gets it Fabinho is right next to him for the pass.

If that's by design then it means klopp wants to keep him building confidence playing easy balls, if it's not by design then he's hiding.
