This is going to be a common theme this season, lacking cutting edge from midfield. We had lots of possession in midfield but its pass pass pass and hope that the next pass will lead to a decent chance. We lack a KDB or Silva in our midfield who can just pick up the ball and break through the opposition parked bus. It probably the only thing that stops us from being a truly complete team.
Teams are happy to let us pass around as they know as long as they shut down the passing lanes for long enough they will have a chance. Is there anyone in world football available that has excellent dribbling and could also play in that midfield?
