Carroll looks the business to me, especially seeing as it's his first season in the Premiership, but I don't think he'll ever leave Newcastle.

Im not saying he's a superstar or anything, but he knows the league and does a very good job. How nice would it be to have someone other than the Greek be an arial threat.

So that's about 40 million + pounds, and it is far from realistic. But that would be my list, and i'd be happy if we just got one of the three and no other signing. I couldn't care less on who that one player would be.
If Johnson wants out, i would like us to have a look at Gregory Van Der Wiel from Ajax.

Fuck all chance of Dzeko, we would be up against Man City and probably Chelsea for him.
I would spend all we got on a top class attacking player, i think we would defend a whole lot better generally if the opposition was a more worried about conceding agains us! at the minute if you can put Torres in your pocket, which is 2 games out of 3 given the injuries and attitude of the lad, then you basically can attack at will against LFC.
Who that would be is anybodies guess and i have no idea who is any good at the moment because ive barely been watching Footy with any care for the last year or so....
Has anybody else got the feeling that we will not sign anybody at all??
