He's been a moany, lazy and at times shit player for us this year but does any player give you the buzz Torres does from hitting the back of the net?
I don't know if its because above any other player we have, Torres has the potential to propel us up the league table if he hits top form.
Their is nobody not even Gerrard that comes close to making me as happy as Torres when he's name is on the scoresheet.
If I miss a game due to it being on at 5am and I check the score afterwards and see we got a goal or 2 or 5 I'm always hoping he'll have got them all.
Only Fowler has ever had me like that about a player.
For so many reasons, yesterday had me happier than I've been in 4 years with Liverpool.
A defeat and we would have been firmly looking down the barrel of a relegation fight but now we can really start looking up the table not down.
And to top all that off Torres got 2 and that excited as much as the result!
I really hope we get the old Torres back. The one that strolled past Chelsea in his first big game.
