£6.5m seems reasonable I reckon.

After Gerrard and Torres he's our next best bet to get goals.
Was treated poorly and played out of position.
The two games he played in the hole last year he scored a hat trick in 1 and sliced Utd's defence open in the other for Torres's goal.
We will not get as good a player for 6.5 or whatever it was.

Yossi's no world beater but for a team bereft of creative players and with little or no available transfer funds, I'd rather have Yossi than 5mil any day of the week.

Agreed, but the notion that Yossi isn't replaceable for £6.5M isn't correct. We signed him for that, and sold him as an thirty year old player for the same price.
He can be replaced, and Turan would be my ideal preference.
