Liverpool have handed trials to USA World Cup star DeAndre Yedlin.
The Seattle Sounders right-back, who came on as an early substitute in their defeat to Belgium, has attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs after his superb performance.
And the 20-year-old could secure a move to Liverpool if he impresses during a pre-season trial, says the Mail on Sunday.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers hasn't given up on landing released Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole.
The Mail on Sunday says Liverpool will make a last-ditch attempt to persuade Cole to remain in England.
But Cole, who was left out of England’s World Cup squad, is poised to leave the Premier League and move to Serie A.
Roma hope to rubber stamp a deal with the ex-England left-back next week.

@Fabio will be delighted about Yedlin

I hate Cole but I'm almost warming to the idea as a quality left back.

Tribal football isn't the laughing stock of football gossip since Twitter came to town I take it?
