Xmas tree red ribbons prove Koeman doesn't "get" Everton

"The People's Club" to quote David Moyes' famous phrase that they still use.

I always thought that was misconceived. It seemed to be saying that Everton would always be Aldi to Liverpool's Waitrose.
Heh. I'm pretty sure it was actually very calculated.

Had he said that Everton were more popular in Liverpool or anything along those lines, it would have been open season for the media to try to disprove him (not that it would have been too difficult tbh). Whereas by offering a meaningless platitude or phrase like that it pleased the bitters no end.

It's exactly what they like. Ambiguous yet tries to convey the impression that Everton fans are better than Liverpool fans, just like their 'We go the game' stickers they love so much.

As I often point out to them, were they more successful then most of them wouldn't be able to sport those stickers cos they wouldn't be able to buy half season tickets or match tickets whenever they wanted.

Speaking of bitter blue shite, the man city forum blue moon makes for some fun reading this morning. It turns out they need seven new players and this manager is no better than the last one. Lulz

I always thought that Pep Guardiola had led a pretty charmed managerial life at Barca and Bayern, and that the Premier League was going to bring him down to earth.

Pep is one of the best managers in the World. Its a bit early to say if he wont be up for the job at City. Says more about their fans in all honesty. No surprise really given that they dont even fill the stadium and leave 15 minutes before the game is finished.
Whatever happened to the core of fans that even followed the team with a full stadium in league one? Did that disappear with moving from Maine Road?

It shows though that even with all the money they've spent, they still got a bloated squad filled with shite average players.
Clichy, Otamendi, Navas etc are awful.

Still, funny as fuck watching it.

They're a small club. That will never change. Ever
