Alonso was a model professional here, when he was given every excuse to be an ass, so I think it's way off base to label him a cunt on the back of the frustration of a knock out loss where the opposition behaved like assholes.
Fact.

Well, reports are emerging that Alonso made some comment about this being the end of the current Spanish national side after this. Could be bullshit but those tensions are never too far from the surface.
There aren't too many black players in the Spanish squad, so they'll be right.
Eh ?
Here we go again...

(I'm sure that's a tongue-in-cheek remark that's in no way, shape or form anti-black but the comment has gone over my head, at least...)

I guess Alonso was referring to the Busquets "mono" remark when he said it would be different for the Spanish national side now. But given there aren't many black players in the squad, they'll probably brush over it the racist clowns.

S'all I was saying really.

Ok, but I read Alonso's reported remarks as relating to all the general nonsense that has gone down around this tie.

Got ya now though.

Yeah probably, but the racism bit is the main thrust of it all - and I can't believe that's gone down well with most of the spanish squad, regardless of whether they're from Real or Barca.

Still, they brushed Aragones' efforts years ago under the carpet, they'll no doubt do likewise again.

Nobody seems to think the Madrid crowd making monkey noises (again) worthy of action, so Biscuits won't have a problem.

Yeah, saw you mentioning the Madrid crowd in another game. Shameful indeed.

It's the fact that Busquets does the whole 'hand over the mouth' act to try and cover it that's caused the outrage. It's just so cuntworthy.

I can only imagine that the British press/media haven't got a hold of the crowd abusing Alves, because he's not "one of our lads".

Even though I heard Graham Hunter make a point of mentioning it on 5Live and Talksport.

He said it was the worst he'd ever heard.

Oh well.

As for Busquets, maybe someone will have a word ?
Yeah, and Paddy will do the right thing.

"When we scored the first goal it would have been totally different and we feel so many bad decisions have been made against us and we are not happy about that," he told Sky Sports. "We think we did a good job but decisions went against us. We really feel that way.

"[The goal] would have changed everything. Our position would have been much stronger and after that it was much more difficult."

On whether Real's tactics were flawed, Alonso added: "No, I don't think so. Until the sending off [of Pepe in the first leg], we were doing really well and it looked like it was going to finish 0-0 and with tonight's result we would have gone through."

Alonso's comments yesterday ... Yes, after scoring a grand total of 1 goal against Barcelona during four 90 minute games, you think it's only refs that beat you. Sorry Farky, he's become a cunt. The Refs didn't beat you, you guys just lost because the better team won. It happens most of the time.

Ronaldo's comments:

Ronaldo echoed his coach's sentiments at the time and returned to the conspiracy claims after his side's Champions League exit at Camp Nou on Tuesday.

"The team is sad, but we knew it was an uphill battle," Ronaldo said on Real's official website. "The name of the match is Mission Impossible IV. Once again it was the referee that didn't allow us to dictate the outcome. We knew we could beat Barca, but the referee didn't let us.

"Higuain's goal was good. Pique pushed me and I landed on Mascherano. He didn't used to fall to the ground in England, but he's picked up the bad habit of doing it here like everyone else.

"The referee in the first match took away our chances of playing the final. Whoever knows anything about football knows that Barcelona get preferential treatment. We knew something would happen. We knew that if we scored a goal that everything would be done to keep us from going through.

"This isn't good for football. We should just stay home and allow Barcelona to play alone if things don't change. Barcelona have a lot of power off the pitch. We would have drawn 0-0 without the Alves incident and tonight's draw would have seen us through.

"There are no differences between the teams as was seen thoughout the four matches. We won the Copa del Rey by playing fairly. I don't feel that Barcelona were better than us, but rather that they have a lot of help from the referees."

I'm even happier they got knocked out ... Bunch of moaning cunts.

And one more thing on Alonso - he was lucky to be on the pitch. Non-stop fouls, and a few from behind on Messi ... And he blames the 'ref' ... Moaning, crying cunts. It's like 11 Fergies.

Real are as bad as anyone. It's outrageous that they are allowed to complain like this - the hypcorisy is simply mind bending.

How does Jose explain Inter defeating Barca last year, then ?

How come Barca don't win the chuffing thing every year, if there's a conspiracy ?
Mourinho is a cunt who has learned from the master of cunts to try and influence referees and associations into bending over for him.

Unrelated to the game but Paul McGrattan (Stevie's best mate) just posted:

"Just asked Steven he said he was close to tears when @XabiAlonso left Liverpool. Just watching the Spurs match so I posed the question."

Of course Stevie was upset. Here's the proof.

had a very similar conversation the other night with Man U supporting mate after watching the Barca v Real game, the thrust of which was that the players who went from the Prem to Spain ie Alonso Mascher Ronaldo etc were far more cynical now then they had been during their premiership days, I disagreed, I think Ronaldo and Mascherano were always cynical nasty players who would try to take any advantage possible, but I maintained that Alonso to my knowledge hadnt always been that way. He disagreed and said from a non Liverpool perspective Alonso was always more than capable of putting a boot in and making cynical challenges to slow the game down, in retrospect its probably true

I guess you forgive alot of the bad things a player does when they play for your team, I know pretty much all non Liverpool fans consider Gerrard to be one of the worst divers in the league and yet it is never remarked upon by Liverpool fans. Similarly Scholes is worshiped as a class act by all Man fans but pretty much everybody else can see he has a vicious nasty streak that marks him out as a really dislikable player

There are exceptions of course, like Rooney, who everybody can see is contemptable prick
