You specialise in the absurd, so I doubt it would hurt
It doesn't really. But then you know that. You know I'm not 'happy' that we've got Hodgson as our manager. I wanted Rijkaard or Lippi. But he's here now, and I am happy at least that Rafa is gone, he made me hate football a lot. And I don't see the point in crying about our appointment. I'll give supporting him a go see how that works out.

would dantes play 4-4-2? if so he can fuck off.
He'd play 442 stab wounds in the opposition faces

Hmm so he's friends with the most successful manager in Englands modern era.

I would say maybe just maybe Roy would love to one over his friend.

Either way this is nothing to worry about.

Nothing wrong with Roy hoping that old Fergie doesn't take it personally when he knocks him off his fucking perch.

Ah now I know why Blackburn was burnt at the top. Woy was in cohorts with Alex. Thanks Bren for the heads up.

So you're happy that a mediocre manager has been appointed to manage Liverpool?

I see.
Just what do you suggest we do?

Jump of a bridge?

He has been appointed. There was better available, but it is bloody water under the bridge.

Just support him for now, or find another team till he actually proves to be incompetent and gets sacked......for fucks sake.

Thank you. Best post in this embarrassing thread.

Which realistic managerial candidate did you which to manage us, Brendan?

It's easy to scorn on others without offering an opinion yourself.

You wanted Benitez out, you knew Mourinho wouldn't come here, or any top manager for that matter, so who did you expect to come in?

He's based his entire forumming style on the above.

I answered that question in the poll I put up, listing the *realistic* managerial options.

And I made it quite clear (as did most of the people who voted) that if the options were Woy, Benitez, MONg, McLeish et al, then the best option would be Benitez.

However, I'd much preferred us to have gone for Dalglish, or even better, identify a young, hungry, possibly risky manager who would shake things up, change things and not be afraid. Who that could have been I didn't give much thought to, because I knew Woy was going to be chosen, and couldn't be arsed putting the effort in.

Fair enough.

Hopefully Roy, given the problems we face and the fact this will probably be his last big job (or even his last job), might have the experience and knowledge now to keep things simple but also have the courage to make the big decisions that need making, on and off the pitch.

Yeah, that's fair enough Brendan. If we were going down the up'n'coming route, the German boss was my preference, but there was never any links to him so it was pointless saying it again and again.

I do think you underestimate what Roy can achieve here, though. A lot of stuff which needs correcting is blindingly obvious, which Benitez, with a much better record, couldn't see for the life of him, and yet most fans could. You don't need 10 league titles to make the right and obvious decisions and I'd ask anyone who thought otherwise to take a look at how Spurs have got on lately.

If and when Lucas gets sold, feel free to join us, haha.

But Woy is one of Slur Alex's toadying mates, that's fact.

You're smarter than this Brendan.
