Raul dreamgoal against Iceland.

I'm sure Raul has been dreaming of scoring against Iceland all his life.

That and dwarfs with a swagger...

Haha, Townsend's a whopper. "Ashley Young was just trying to avoid that." He'd have made Greg Luganis proud with that one Andy.

We're struggling because again Rooney is playing like a cunt.
Everything is coming back off him, and with them sitting 11 behind the ball its tough to break them down.
There is that, but why does Gerrard and the rest of the midfield drop so deep to collect the ball?

Push up into the opposition half, let the centre-backs bring the ball out thus freeing up a bit of space for the midfielders and attackers.

It's almost as though they want to be playing counter-attacking football against a side who are set up to park the bus.

One of those Hollywood through balls or runs down the wing might eventually work, but we'd be better off adjusting our tactics.
I think they are going deep to try and draw them on a bit rather than have 21 players in the last 30 yards.
Youre right though, they need to change it up.

I nearly spat out my tea.

It was a blatant dive and a great spot by the Referee. "Disgraceful decision" my arse.

International football really is as dull as dishwater.

I wish it would fuck off.

Yes, we can soon get back to watching exciting attacking football from the boys in red.

I hate games like this when the oppo play with 11 behind the ball. It kills football. That said we havnt been clever or creative enough by half. Gerrard and the johnsons have played well, the rest of the team have been poor.

I wish we had a better midfielder than Barry to play. He's really not good enough.

On another note, Scotland have come back from 2 nil down against Spain. I'm not quite sure how as they must have had about 10% possession or some shit.
Hes going backwards quickly barry is.
That was a fucking clear pen then!!

The irony of England spending all that money to get an Italian manager to instruct them to hit long balls to a yard dog for flick ons.

Quite right Farky. Terrible hoofball rubbish. Im so sick of my teams playing shite foootball.
The montenegrans will celebrate this like a world cup win and fair play to them, job well done.
Ps-Rooney is fucking shit for England. He should retire from international football.

Poor today. Crouch was at his worst today against a physical defence who allowed him no time on the ball and magnified his lack of pace, mobility and strength on the ball. Rooney was poo again. A.Johnson kept running down blind alleys. Barry is just never going to be good enough and it was pretty much left to Gerrard to try and nail 40 yard hollywood balls from deep inside his half and hope for the best.

haha route 1 football to Kevin Davies... woeful stuff.
Ironically we improved with him on the pitch. Bad day all round.

We didnt lose though and we still have an easy group, so we go again.
