That hurt my eyes Pat. A tidy up would do no harm.

Belhadj has a but of pace which is always nice but not much else stands out.

O' hara at a push.

Agreed. I'd also take Antti Niemi if he's fit.

Yeah, I suppose he wouldn't be a calamity.

I despise o'hara. He's still spurs' anyway isn't he?
Yeah he is and Redknapp apparently rates him. However O'Hara got in a bit of hot water this week saying he hopes Spurs go out of the FA Cup so Pompey will have an easier route to Wembley.

Nah. There are a few in there that would be good signings for lower to mid-table sides, but none for us unless that's where we anticipate being.

I don't want squaddies. Promote from within or some of our first eleven should be pushed down to squaddies. No money on squaddies. If someone campaigned on this platform I'd vote for them becoming manager. (Like I have a say or something...)

Belhadj is very decent. Be an excellent squaddie.

This.

Well observed.

Would any of the other Top 3/4 clubs want any of that list?
Probably not but is that really the question anyways? I think our starting eleven needs strengthening more than the title contenders. Their squads may need depth beyond the first eleven. (Although I don't really think any of Pompey's players really improve the Top 3's second string either.) There isn't much in there that I would want if I were Villa or Spurs either.

O'Hara does have a touch of the Milner's about him. Hes young, puts a shift in every time he plays, can play anywhere on the left or in centre mid and can play abit aswell. He could turn into a decent player.

I've always thought Hreidarsson would make a good squad player for a top 4 team but not now he's in his mid-30's.

Me too actually, he's a decent all round player who is good in the air.

Would any of the other Top 3/4 clubs want Insua, Lucas, Eggnog, Benayoun, Zorba or Maxi?

I reckon all 3 would take Benayoun. Not a problem.

Been linked with both Chelsea & Arsenal in the past too.

I though O'Hara said that about the cup because he would be unable to play against Spurs because of some agreement.

More controversial is his attitude to playing for Ireland or England.

Irish FA: "Mr O'hara please play for us, you have a 'O' in front of your name and everything, it'll be super, think of all the play-offs you'll get to play in".

O'Hara: "I want to play for England so wait until after the WC, if I still get nowhere near the squad, I'll probably play for you."

Irish FA: "Cool".

Can Ben Haim or Van den Borre play on the left in defense then perhaps.

Otherwise no.

he has pace and overlaps decently is better than insua which is not saying much most left backs in the premiership are better than insua .

You're correct that he can't play against them. Think it might be both reasons. Don't care enough to verify.

Who has/will(Pompey) be relagated under 5(five!)different clubs.

He's a curse!

What about the Fresh Prince? Seems to have tons of ability and is very strong. Definitely worth a look. Never got a fair crack of the whip at Tottenham.

I know at least one Tottenham fan who rates him and would strongly agree with you. Me, I'm not so sure. He does have some ability, and as you say he is very powerful, but he can lose his concentration a bit too easily for my liking.
