That explains one of the votes, but there are two others who would prefer the season is ended and we are given the league by default. I con only assume those two people don't trust the team to see it over the line if we have to play the matches - so Hal and Mrs HalI selected the wrong answer as I misunderstood the "restart" the season part.

Yes. 'Resume' ought to have been the question.
Yes, that would have been clearer. Unfortunately can't edit the poll once the votes are in.
...fight 1 horse size duck, or 100 duck size horses?... have a nose for a penis, or a penis for a nose ?
Yea bants over millions dying so the league couldn’t be fully played out.
My mrs acknowledges that we should be champions without question....but there will be an asterisk over it and there is still a chance of bottling it (which we have been known to do in the last decade)I couldn't give a flying focaccia personally about the bants etc.but I wonder whether we might be making too many assumptions about that anyway. Recently I was having a chat over the phone with a couple I know and Mrs, who's a big Citeh fan (and used to be my boss, so I'm glad they weren't then what they are now) started having a mild pop about the asterisk, only to be pulled up short by her hubby (a Wolves fan) who said it was daft to insinuate that Liverpool were anything other than worthy champions.
Why would there be an asterisk to our title if every game of the season is fully played out?

Opposition fans will use anything to diminish it.
- No crowds
- A few players will inevitably not play because of health concerns (and I'd expect a few of the relegation threatened clubs to make a massive deal out of it with a view to taking legislative action in an attempt to avoid relegation)
- Bickering in the media from players/managers/journalists/etc over whether we should play
- The break in the middle of the season and the inevitable argument over fitness and whether teams are mentally prepared for the match
- If a player or someone else in the stadium gets the virus during the tournament (we'll likely have no way of telling if came from the match or from somewhere) then all hell will break out
