When I was younger, I read the ones by Emlyn Hughes, Tommy Smith and Souness. They all were a bit samey. But I just enjoyed the tales of the old days and who didn't like who.

They were just easy reading. Nowadays, I'm ashamed to say I rarely read books full stop. Last one I read was "A life too short" which was about the German keeper Robert Enke who took his own life. Hard work but it's a story that people should know about.
