I understood Dark Horse to be a team that is unfancied to win the tournament but you have a hunch it could surprise everyone by going all the way.

Others seem to think a Dark Horse is a team that's just not as shit as people thought.

Unless there as relevant as the Grand National trends have been for the past two years !

One commentator mentioned one of the reasons why they thought there was an advantage for Southern Hemisphere teams in the Southern Hemisphere was because of the type of grass and the way it's usually cut, which is apparently much different to your standard European pitch.

However South Africa have custom built all the pitches to European standards, so if that is the reason for the advantage it should be negated.
