This is the best game so far of this world cup. I nearly had tears in my eyes watching Mbappe - he indeed reminds me of my favourite player of all time in the Original Ronaldo - with that pace/power/skill/ and the way he shoots. All I can say is that if we are really putting that bid in for that Spanish youngster - fuck that sell one of our front three and get this kid - promise him the world. That kid is going to be the superstar of the future. I am going to watch this kid where ever he goes as I think he will go onto maybe win everything. That kid was a class above the rest of his team mates.
In the end I felt sorry for Messi but today I was happy that Danny Murphy finally mentioned that with his success at Barca it is nearly always forgotten that he has had the privilege of playing with the worlds best and that has contributed to his outstanding stats at Barca. Was delighted that Aguero scored - he has been world class as a striker for many years and I hate that idiot coach of theirs for not playing him. Anyone who says Messi is the GOAT, they obviously haven't lived long enough to see Maradona play. Still, Messi is definitely one of the greatest. Top 3 for sure. End of an era indeed.
