Is there any chance at all we will sign:
Jese Rodriguez
Antoine Griezmann
Juan Iturbe
Xerdan Shaquiri
Morata
Gundogan
Christian Tello
Bernard
El sharaawy

Etc.

Basically lets get this shit sorted for the future.

A lot of those players will be a massive amount and look, hopefully we'll be in a position, funds wise but also club standing wise to get them but if we don't, here's some names of some young future stars we should be looking at.
Remember these names:
Vilhena, Bernat, Durm, Umtiti, de Vrij, Veretout, Rabiot, Eysseric, Ezekiel, Bakkali, Batshuayi, Locadia and Depay.

Would love to have Cuadrado.

Yeah, Cuadrado is probably the ultimate utility player available, but I imagine there will be a lot of demand for him.

I would be happy with Griezmann or El Shaarawy if Konoplyanka doesn't work out.

Gundogan would be a fantastic signing, but like Pogba, it would take something exceptional for that to happen.

Shaqiri is one I like a lot, would enjoy seeing us sign him.

Tello's been mentioned in connection with us an awful lot, so I wouldn't be surprised if we sign him; I also expect us to get Will Hughes. Dunno about anyone else.

Is Will Hughes ready to challenge for the first team?

Yeah. Well, he'd be a closer alternative to Henderson than Allen or Lucas is (though Allen has added more pressing to his game since coming here I think). I think like most players, he'd have to spend a little time understanding and adapting to the way we play, but given the quantity of games we'd be playing next season I'd certainly have no problems with him being in the first team.

I know Rossiter hasn't played yet, but are Rossiter and Hughes not meant to be similar type of players?

interesting list of top talent - good to know we are linked with some of these (as of Jan this year)
Ross Barkley – midfielder, Everton/England
The Everton midfielder has enjoyed a promising end to 2013, and expectations will be high going into next year.Manchester United have already been strongly linked with a move for the England international, having worked with boss David Moyes at Goodison Park. Barkley's athleticism enables him to be a driving force in the midfield, whilst he also has the passing and shooting ability to provide an end product.
Michy Batshuayi – striker, Standard Liege/Belgium
Rumoured Arsenal target Batshuayi has been tipped to become the latest Belgian striker to take the Premier League by storm, after the impressive displays of Romelu Lukaku and Christian Benteke. Batshuayi is another athletic striker to catch the eye in Belgium, with his pace and clinical finishing taking him to the fringes of the national team. The World Cup might come too soon for Batshuayi, but he's certainly a name to follow in 2014.
Saido Berahino – striker, West Bromwich Albion/England
Berahino burst onto the scene with the winning goal in West Brom's 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, and finished the year with six goals in just four games for England Under 21's. The Burundi-born strikerrecently signed a new deal at The Hawthorns to ward off interest in the 20 year old, who could have a big year in 2014 should he continue to develop and improve.
Will Hughes – midfielder, Derby County/England
Another England Under 21 international with a growing reputation is Derby's midfield maestro Hughes. Liverpool have been reportedly tracking the 18 year old's progress with a £12m price tag over his head, and with Steve McClaren's side hurtling towards the automatic promotion places, Hughes will be a key player if the Rams are to return to the Premier League for the first time since relegation in 2008.
Mateo Kovacic – midfielder, Inter Milan/Croatia
19 year old Kovacic already has seven caps for the Croatian national team, and despite interest from Juventus and Bayern Munich, left Dinamo Zagreb for Inter Milan last January. There are already rumours that he could be sold to Manchester United in order to solve the Red Devils' midfield problems, and his technical ability and passing range have already made him a young star, but may be a key player for Niko Kovac's Croatia in the 2014 World Cup.
Lazar Markovic – forward, Benfica/Serbia
Markovic was a target for Chelsea before leaving Partizan Belgrade for Benfica last summer – and possibly still is – having impressed early on in Portugal. The speedy forward has also been making an impact with the Serbian national team, and if he continues to show his pace, dribbling ability and eye for goal, it won't be long before Jose Mourinho comes calling once again for the 19 year old.
Juan Fernando Quintero – attacking midfielder, FC Porto/Colombia
Quintero, a former Manchester United target, left Pescara last summer in order to move to Porto, where compatriots Fredy Guarin, James Rodriguez, Falcao and Jackson Martinez have all enjoyed success. The Colombian has missed a large chunk of the season with injury, and is on the comeback trail, meaning 2014 will be a big year for the left footed playmaker, whose long range shots have already taken the world by storm.
Florian Thauvin – winger, Marseille/France
Whilst his exit from Lille was somewhat acrimonious, Thauvin has already shown his vast ability since his summer move. A left footed winger with great pace and dribbling ability, Thauvin has attracted the interest of Arsenal, who he faced in the Champions League group stage. With his future more settled since leaving Lille, Thauvin now needs to take the opportunity at Marseille next year and reach his potential.
Oliver Torres – midfielder, Atletico Madrid/Spain
Diminutive playmaker Torres has already been labelled as the next Xavi, and rumours linked the Atletico Madrid starlet with a move to Barcelona as a future part of the deal that saw David Villa move to the Estadio Vicente Calderon. Torres has been used sporadically by manager Diego Simeone as he looks to ease Torres into the first team, but the possible departure of Koke to Liverpool or Manchester United could force him into the lineup next year.
Kurt Zouma – centre back, St. Etienne/France
Centre back Zouma has attracted the interest of Chelsea and Manchester City in recent times, and France manager Didier Deschamps has recently stated that he sees Zouma as the future captain of Les Blues. Having starred for St. Etienne, the physically imposing 19 year old is seen as one of the future defensive stars of world football, and will look to continue his path to stardom with the French club in 2014 – for the time being, at least.

we'll be signing boss english players where we can

Wouldn't be surprised if we got Walcott or someone but he's not that good

The Reds are continuing to keep an eye on the future, judging by a report in the Daily Mirror which indicates their interest in signing a pair of highly-rated teenagers.
Sixteen-year-old West Bromwich Albion forward Tyler Roberts, who currently captains the Wales under-16 side, has been targeted in a £200,000 move, whilst 18-year-old Bristol City centre-back Jack Batten has been lined up for a £75,000 switch.

Is El Shaarawy a bit of a show pony? I haven't seen enough of him. Boss name though.

I want to keep it simple and just sign quality technical player who can impact a game for us. I think the one's below are realistic.
Kono
Muniain
Morata
Griezmann
Shaquiri

I'm trying to keep within Oncy's parameters of players but obviously I'd do anything to sign Reus, Pogba, Mkhitayrian etc.

Is Will Hughes ready to challenge for the first team?
In order Derby's best midfielders are..................

George Thorne (on loan from WBA, excellent prospect, already better than most WBA midfielders)
Craig Bryson (Premier League quality)
Jeff Hendrick (probably Premier League quality)
Paul Coutts (decent wide man but not good enough for EPL)
Jamie Ward (easily good enough for EPL as a Naismith-type forward but far too often played wide left which is a waste)
Will Hughes (has shown NOTHING yet that suggest he's good enough for the EPL)

A lot of Derby fans are calling his current lack of form "second season" syndrome, I think they've just realised he's not that good.

Yeah. Well, he'd be a closer alternative to Henderson than Allen or Lucas is (though Allen has added more pressing to his game since coming here I think).

Haven't seen Will Hughes play, but I'm surprised with that bit, given what I've read here in the past. Looking at highlights, he looks more Jonjo to me at this point, and I actually quite like Jonjo.

He's playing in a box to box role for Derby, aye, which is why I think he'd fit Henderson's role well - high intensity, pressing, covering a lot of ground. I've been impressed with him when I've seen him, but others may disagree.

Linked to 2 of 'em today (& 1 says NEIN!)

[article] Liverpool FC remain interested in Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic, Italian website Calciomercato.com claims.

The Reds have been reportedly interested in the Croatian box-to-box midfielder for months and Brendan Rodgers will continue his pursuit.

The site claims a good relationship has been struck following the deal in January 2013 to bring Philippe Coutinho to Anfield.

Meanwhile, Football Direct News believe the Reds face competition from Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid for Juan Fernando Quintero.

The Porto forward, 21, has lit up the Portuguese league this season and has been hailed as the 'Colombian Lionel Messi'.

But Hakan Calhanoglu, Hamburg's impressive attacking midfielder, has dealt a blow to Liverpool by claiming his future lies in Germany.

The Reds have reportedly been interested in the 20-year-old, but his agent told the Hamburger Morgenpost that his client sees his future in the Bundesliga. [/article]
