Italy got exactly what they deserved. Like France they were crap!

I'm happy to see the back of them.

Africa changes quicker than I thought if that's an answer to Spion's question

Ha. I just copped that myself

Denmark have conceded 5 goals in three games - do we really want another one of their defenders ?
That Kroldrup playing for them tonight - is he the one the bitters signed, only to discover he literally can't head the ball?

Yeah they meant to sign the other blonde centre back from Fiorentina at the time

To much Danish deadwood. We'll be back though the Youngones Will prevail. Agger easily best player.

Bad luck KHL.
Sadly you were second best tonight but if you had a pair of decent strikers then you might have had some chance.

Honda looks a great player for Japan..
Yeah he looks well built and moves with great economy. Hear we could lease him for a low rate too.

Cheers mate it was completely deserved we went out. After the first 10 however I actually thought it would be a walk in the park.

How wrong I was.

Bendtner is our main striker and he's great but because of a groin injury he almost didn't train with the rest of the team during the World Cup and that showed on the pitch.

Jon Dahl is over the top and hopefully Christian Eriksen (the one who was subbed on with 30 min to go) will take over prior to the EC in two years.

However I do feel it was our keeper who let us down the most last night. But hey that's foootball.

Good luck to Japan.

Agreed.

It was a fabulous game, actually.

I expected Japan to pull a Victorinox ie anti-football-defend in numbers-catch them on the break, but they went for the win from the start.

Credit to them, and to Denmark for fighting as hard as they could.

we could do a lot worse than bring agger's defensive partner to anfield.
Agger and Kjær has got the potentiel to be one of the best defensive partnerships in the world of football.

I really do hope we are in for him as he's constantly telling everyone that Liverpool is his dream destination. Let's not ruin this great opportunity.

I know you guys didn't see much of him during the World Cup and he even made a few silly errors too, but he also showed why he is so highly rated. His passing range is simply impressive and as he wins most headers beeing tall and physical adjust he'd complement Agger perfectly.

With those two at the back we'll never again have to worry that we'll struggle to string two passes together either.

Glen Johnson, Daniel Agger, Simon Kjær, Somone very good = awesomeness

And leaking shitloads of goals
Don't think so.

We aren't exactly leaking goals when Agger's playing and as Kjær's been one of the most dominant and reliant CBs in the Serie A over the past two seasons we'd probably leak less than what we've done for the past Season whilst creating much more from the back.

We need someone strong in the air, not since Sami have we looked assured defending setpieces. Agger nor Skrtel are dominant like Sami was it and we've suffered from it.

They look poo in this tournament KHL.

Agger and Kjær?

Don't think so mate but fair enough I may have looked through rose-teinted glasses. (Agger however was named MOTM against Cameroun and was by a mile our best player yesterday - where Kjær was suspended and didn't play mind).

A number of those were direct from free kicks, not much the defenders can do about those

And Denmark's always rather shaky at the back when Krøldrup is playing. With Kjær in there who knows maybe it had been a different game.

The a & the e are stuck together. It looks funny.

Is that Danish letter? How's it pronounced if so?

Just do not ask the commentators. They seem to make up something fancy every time they pronounce a difficult name. They sound convincing too.........

Haha... it is.

Æ is like an a followed by an e.

Kjaer - and you don't pronounce the 'j' so it sounds a bit like the first e in Gerrard.

But it's not like "car".

Make any sense at all?

--> KAER
