Even if you accept the premise that hitting the woodwork is some statistical indicator of luck, rather than just the same as any other miss, adjusting the statistical outlier of LFC wouldn't remove all the hitting the woodwork, just some of it, to some more normal average per shots taken.

So we wouldn't really reach the dizzying heights of 5th.
