Wolves Liverpool Match Thread

If we go out today resting players and then get beat by Chelsea, we're going to look really really fucking stupid.

We are already at the point where we are out of the title race but people don't want to say just quite yet we are out of it.

The FA Cup was it for us this year at this point. And if this doesn't get sorted sooner rather than later we will be looking back at a good half of a season followed by finishing 6th.

IF the first team dont fucking show up big time against chelsea in the week than, well, i dont know what but I wont be happy.

This is bollocks.

Klopp claimed the other day that tiredness is not the reason why were playing crap. If that's true (and i don't believe it for a second) then why does he rest them for the FA cup games? He's talking shite

There's a line about 40 yards from the opposition goal where teams need to drop to when they lose possession.

We'll pass side to side around that line and they just need to be prepared to break when we lose it.

That's all the planning the opposition need

It's a good job we've got an experienced defensive midfield player shielding this defence, otherwise Wolves could be even more than two goals ahead

The way klopp has approached the last two rounds of the FA cup shows supreme arrogance, why should a bunch of kids be able to automatically step up and integrate with squad players against a professional team in the cup

"There's a lot of experience out there" Steve Macca claims.

When that "experience" is in the shape of Lucas & Moreno, that's not a good thing.

I'm going to put it out there, Wijnaldum is shite. For the money we paid for him, he is nowhere near good enough.

Gomez appears determined to prove that the people who mysteriously seem to think he is going to be our best defender since Alan Hansen - despite only playing about three games, and not showing anything that impressive even then - is about as likely to be world class as the last clown some said was, the hapless Origi.

It's gone back to the latter part of Rodgers' time, where we'd play like we hated the thought of losing the ball, only to play a really stupid pass to someone on the edge of the area surrounded by defenders, or an over hit pass out of play. Idiotic.

The problem with Wijnaldum is that he doesn't offer us enough in midfield. He's supposed to be attacking but he doesn't attack for shit.

lost fluidity going forward, which isn't so much relevant to today as it isn't the first team. the midfield needs lallana, and we are badly missing mane

Poor selection. Poor performance. Let's see what Klopp does to turn it around, if he can.

He's a player who plays well in dominant sides but goes completely missing when the chips are down.

He is not shite - we just don't have the tools to unlock buses no matter if that bus is an old banger or modern one. We have the tools to unlock the most expensive sports cars though - hence the results against bottom shite vs top shite.

Looked quality at FB but there's no evidence he has what it takes to be a CB.

Yeah, usually ghosts appear and make things scary, but the latest ghost of Anfield Road *disappears* when it gets scary.

He's like an anti-ghost.
