Yup, that line-up makes sense... rafalicious

It would be nice to see Maxi and Aquaman start though...
[/quote]
As much as I agree it is actually kind of nice to have a few impact-players on the bench as well.

Our squad has improved with the addition of Maxi and the likes of Riera and Aquilani returning to fitness as well as Degen's suddenly looking like a footballer.

So we ditch Aqua, who was pretty good against Spurs. And throw in a unfit just recovered from injury Gerrard. Don't like it.

I would have gone for the same team as the Spurs game, with maybe swapping Degen for Maxi.
I'd rather Gerrard came on from the bench, then playing with just one training session on him.

Agreed.

So our friend Lucas who was dreadful vs Spurs would start ahead of Aqua who had his best game for us.
I dont want to believe this.
But yeah i know, Rafa will do that.

To be fair, he's had three or four training sessions now hasn't he?

Aqua should be playing though, either way.

I agree - Stevie has been living off his reputation this season. Our team of "squad players" were great against Spurs. I would rather start with Aquilani to give him more of a chance to settle in. If he is crap, then bring Stevie off the bench if he is genuinely fit.

Is correct.

Personally I would prefer to play someone coming back from injury from the start. If he struggles then you bring a sub on. Use him as a sub and he struggles then you have to use another sub.

If you know what I mean

Usually I agree, but I already imagine seeing Aquilani enter the action about the 78' and giving Maxi 5 to 6 very important minutes of play

No he hasn't, he's been carrying an injury for most of it

Granted Lucas was poor against Spurs, but Rafa would be mad to ditch our top tackler and passer for an away match that will be largely physical.

Yeah. He's brilliant is Lucas. The best tackler in the team. Much better than Mascherano at tackling.
And passing. He's a better passer than Steven Gerrard.

Fucking bell-end (of a post)

Sarcasm, no?

Surely same line up as Spurs, but with Maxi starting on the right. I'd be happy with that.

I'd rather we didn't rush Gerrard back and screw him up again.

You could start one. I don't think you'd be attacked or anything.

Ha ha, attack the post, not the poster, mucho respect. I'm not going to suggest that he's better than the two players you mentioned, they are world class established players, but the stats say that percentage wise and in number of, passes and tackles, he's one of the best in the Premiership, let alone our team. The stats don't lie.

I'll attack you if you like: you're a smug, patronising twat and I don't like you. There.

Now: "stats don't lie"?

Really?

Anyone who uses stats to make any kind of claim about Lucarse being "one of the best in the Premiership" is a fucking clown.

Next.

I'll be surprised if it is. Wolves aren't a dirty team. They have a group of youngish, athletic players who try to play football. Its just a shame for them that they aren't very good

Ha ha You're hilarious. I think patronising is how best to handle you. Liking or disliking an anonymous poster just goes to show that you spend way too much time online. It's a shame that you reverted to type, you were doing so well!

I never suggested he was one of the best in the Premiership, I said his stats are. Read more closely next time. Maybe we can add a disclaimer and deduct some points off him, because you don't like him!
