If Nunez is part of a title-winning squad, I'll consider that "come good enough".

Not saying that not winning a title ISN'T coming good. But if we win everything Lallana won with us while Darwin is in our side, regularly starting or contributing, hard to argue that's not "coming good". Even if he never goes on to be the world-class striker most of hope he will develop into.

Is there just the tiniest hint of irony when a YouTube video has the headline "What YouTubers won't show you"?

Like my pompous sister in law who regularly makes Facebook posts about how people should spend less time on their phones accessing social media.

Shit but our shit that has once again helped us win a game of football.

Today we saw the problems surrounding this team....& Nunez is at the bottom of that list.

One of the biggest problems this team has is converting good chances. He's been the worst offender this season in that regard. Let's not pretend he's been carrying the team with his solitary goal since October.

He's been providing goals and other chances for us this season too.

We can't always score 2/3 goals to win games.

We don't need to pretend, for most games this season he has been our primary threat up front, maybe not in terms of scoring goals but certainly causing chaos, and with his speed. He is way more than a goal-scorer.

I actually think Mo has been worse. He has more attempts - and usually from better situations - but just hasn't been putting them away.

Xg stats on big chances missed says otherwise. And even then this is the worst version of Salah we've seen in 6 years, and he's still as good as a Nunez in terms of his output.

That maybe what the stats say but Mo does seem to miss far more chances (whether classified as 'Big' or not) than anyone else. Output isn't the question at this stage of his integration - nobody expects Nunez to be close to Mo in that regard.
