"Luiz has actually elbowed him twice," said Ferguson. "It is quite clear on the camera.

"Whether the referee will do anything about it I doubt very much, Howard Webb won't be bothering himself about that.

"It is bad isn't it? It's not very professional," Ferguson added. "He (Luiz) rolled about. You see that a lot with foreign players. He did roll about and made it look worse.

He's said much worse in the past, so I don't see why he'd get taken to task massively over that.

Besides, he's not wrong about Luiz...

Well he's not wrong, but again, bringing the ref's discretion into question and banging on about "foreign players" again (didn't concern him much when Ronaldo was diving everywhere though)...

Rafael did kick Luiz on purpose though . . . I haven't heard Fergie's comments about that.

He now has the deputy chairman of the FA and the chairman of the Premier League in his pocket, so you don't hear much official criticism of Fergie.

The answer to any question about Ferguson getting away with anything will invariably be "yes". The football establishment is either under his thumb or in his pocket. There is no great overarching conspiracy, because there doesn't need to be. He's bullied his way to untouchability.

Next.

I hate ferguson with a passion. Hypocrite and bully! Two things I detest most in a human being.

But in fairness he admitted that the decision to send Rafael off was right. He just commented on the Luiz reaction which I would say is fair enough.
