I don't think I've ever seen Hammill play. Is there a chance he could make it with us? Which flank does he play on?

Think Joe Cole... he can play anywhere along the three.

If the interest of the likes of Wolves and West Brom is real, he must be pretty well thought of in the Championship. I remember reading that the Barnsley fans liked him.

He's always been one who has a lot of talent and seems very willing to stick around in the hope that he'll get a shot, but if you've not even gotten a sniff of first team action by the age of 21, the writing is kinda on the wall, isn't it?

I suppose he could end up taking El Zhar's spot if he goes, but he'd probably be better off with a year at West Brom.

Hammill could do a job, but if we buy Silva or other and don't sell Riera, we might as well get rid.

I voted none, but I refuse to believe that Spearing couldn't have done a better job than Lucas last season. He's a tidy and creative player- and ok, he's a dwarf, but he's much more tenacious than Lucas. I'd really like him to be used more regularly next season.

Nemeth is a talented boy, and physically ready (other than injuries) so I hope he gets a few chances this season, and hopefully Pacheco too.

I have nothing against Jay, but you seriously underestimate Lucas.

I'm not one of Lucas's major critics, and I recognise he has had some very good performances. I just happen to believe Spearing is a better player than him. Perhaps you seriously underestimate Spearing?

But Hammill is English. That is likely to count for something in weighing up his future.

It would be sweet to have a star come through the ranks at this jucture when clubs are throwing away money with no regard to absolutely anything.

Who voted Buchtmann? Could you explain why?
[/quote]

I just have, making it four for him.

He is superb as a LW / playmaker for his age. I was staggered by his performances in the U17 Championships for Germany. Wore the no. 7 shirt with aplomb.

i voted buchtmann.. i think that he will impress and get promoted and get a few mins in the cup games. This is because we dont have that good left wingers so if riera gets injured then we might have to.. i dont know, just like the kid!

saric has a good chance nd so does nemeth

Has Saric even played 5mins for us yet?

As for Buchtmann, well, I'd be absolutely amazed if he made any breakthrough next season.

saric has been injured but he has potential to be a star player when older. as for buchtmann.. he might not make it next season, but he will definetly make it with us in a couple years time i reckon =] (even tho i voted for him) lol

I've heard good things about Saric (heh, mainly from the_khl), but given that he's been out for a season and done nothing for us yet, it's a little early to start saying he'll be doing this or that. Have you ever seen him play?
