Reading all the Shanks stuff gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside especially reading someone of the quotes I hadn't seen before or story I wasn't aware of.

Got me thinking that there is nobody in modern football that would come anywhere close to the Great Man.

But if you got a chance to sit down and talk football with any manager currently in the game. Who would you pick and why?

Top of my list would be,

Scolari, Wenger, guardiola to name just three but I think

Jose Mourinho would be number one.

Why?

I'd love to hear how to gets inside the minds of most players and developes the winning mentality that is evident in everyone one of his teams.

And above all else how he maintains the consistency.

Who would you pick and why?

Oh and I left out Rafa as obviously every Liverpool fan would love to talk to Rafa.

No one.

I honestly can't look beyond Rafa.

Capello at a massive push, but even then I wouldn't want him.

Wow so the man that loves his tactics and deep conversations about how the game should be played would have no interest in talking to any other manager in the game?

Rafa for me, I find him a very interesting character.

Others would include, Harry Redknapp, Dario Gradi, Wenger and Ian Holloway.

I don't believe I would find out anything more from Rafa than I already know so I doubt he would be my first choice. He's extremely guarded with anyone he doesn't fully trust.

Probably Wenger, Hiddink or Hodgeson

I'd pick the one that has experience at all the top Italian clubs, Real Madrid and England.

I dont post much, but for the fucking love of god wise up! Are you expecting perfection 100% of the fucking time?

Oh, I just realise I've read your original post wrong.

Which is always a possibility, given I can barely hold my concentration through your sentences.

I wouldn't mind talking to Hodgson about things other than football. I think people like Wenger are pretty much 'talked out' in terms of football - I've seen enough interviews to know his basic beliefs, and don't really crave the repetition. Houllier might be a pleasure to chat with just because he'd be more relaxed now, more open-minded and he's always talked a good game. 😉 Other than that, Ian Holloway for the comedy value. I'd also like to meet Mourinho just so I could chin the idiot.

None. I'm not arsed what they think about anything, and I fucking hate most of them anyway

you wouldn't want half an hour to ask rafa why he does the things he does, picks the players he picks or what his future plans are?
