Not on our team - as this has been discussed endlessly - but around Europe ...

I'll start with Luka Modric. Always thought he was a really good player, but the way he played near Xabi this year has been incredible. He really has impressed me to no end - great engine, excellent passer and a key part of that team for the next 5 years it seems.

Koke, Miranda, Felipe Luiz basically the entire Athletic team.
The latter are top class players and I find it very strange that someone like Maicon is ahead of them in the national team.

Modric is a fabulous little footballer. If Spurs still had Modric, they'd still be a top 4 threat, even without Bale.

He's got the Xabi like ability of making others around him better.

Di Maria. Every time I saw him this year he was exceptional.

On the other end of the scale that Carvajal!??! Hes fucking wank

Modric has always been great but the sale of Ozil and change of formation has really helped him become the fulcrum of that Real team alongside Alonso. Great player.

Epic beard though.

Yeah Modric and the three Atletico players are good shouts.
Benatia is a fucking beast of a center back.
Verrati looks an exceptionally tidy midfielder.
Also really like Vidal.
He has it all for a midfielder pity he's one of those twat heads.

Diego Costa and diego simeone. I wasn't overly enamoured with modric myself, maybe as they have so many good players he didn't stick out for me, there's quite a few la liga players I'd have had in front of him in the list. El cunto Ronaldo had another solid season in that team.

I watched more of other teams this season than I have since I was about 13. Mostly cos the other games all mattered in some way, also because I watched them going 'we could beat you because....'. Ramsey is one player you can't throw at, he's like stevie with us when he's playing, he's an actual force, non negotiable he just plays & wins.

In our league there are only a select few like that. Suarez, Ramsey, barkeley. I'm struggling after that tbh. We can never, ever sign barkeley, for obvious reasons, but I honestly think we should launch a massive bid for Ramsey before the world cup.

Let me be the first to say 40m + 1.

There, it's been said, nobody else has to make that shite joke.

Agreed though, Ramsey is a wonderful player. Arsenal could really build around him and Wilshere.
Wenger has 100m to play with in the summer too if the rags are to be believed.

In the Premier League, Seamus Coleman, Luke Shaw and I thought Saido Berahino deserved a mention and a contract from us.
Aaron Ramsey as previously mentioned was fucking ace too.

Di Maria has been ridiculously good this season, think as someone said already, he's nearly been Madrid's MOM every single game...

How on earth would be able to land Ramsey, and at what price would we even have to start at to get him??

I've not seen him play this season, but I can't help but be impressed by Antonio Di Natale's numbers, at 36 years old, for Udinese:
2013/14 - 20 goals: 17 (league), 1 (cup), 2 (Europa)

And that, after these seasons:
35: 2012/13 - 26 goals: 23 (league), 3 (Europa)
34: 2011/12 - 28 goals: 23 (league), 1 (cup), 4 (Europa)
33: 2010/11 - 28 goals: 28 (league)
32: 2009/10 - 29 goals: 29 (league)
31: 2008/09 - 16 goals: 12 (league), 1 (cup), 3 (Europa)

It'd have to be silly money, but not astronomical money, cos first & foremost Wenger is an accountant, his job as manager is definitely below that.

Given Ramseys age & talent even if we paid 50m it'd be a good deal, & I reckon we'd get him for 50m.

I highly doubt we have that much to spend on one player, sadly.

Story goes that Rafa wanted him for a couple of mill.or so before the Arse got him but the board wouldn't sanction the deal.

As good as he is, I wouldn't spend 50 million on someone with his injury problems.

No thanks. Him, Walcott and Wiltshere as good as they are just too injury prone. Even if all three were available for £50m I still wouldn't sanction a move (if I was on the board). Without them Arsenal suffer.

Modric

Having watched a bit of Real this season and without the Spurs hate tinted glasses I've also been very impressed by Bale
